This has been a big year for the Ladies of the underground. 1. In September 2013 our 3rd annual event, the All-Girl's-Cave-Trip, had twice as many attendees and even wonderful performers and trip leaders. We began the guacamole contest and silly awards too! 2. In August 2013 our Facebook page boomed from 20 likes to what it is today at 365 participants; reaching an audience of over 1,200! 3. Late summer 2013 the Silver Sage Grotto offered to host the 2014 event with full production which includes a guidebook and guest speakers. This event will occur the weekend of Aug. 1, 2014 and it will knock your socks off! 4. This year our logo and publication "Extraordinary Women Cavers" originated and became in full demand. We also created our first t-shirt that is so well liked that people still send orders through Facebook today. Even famous base guitarist for LA Guns, Scott Griffin, posed in the design! 5.
