In
1933 Lyle Cavern was named after Lyle Martin, the first women to reach
Groundsheet Junction, a portion of Lost Johns' Cave; the most extensive
cave system on Leck Fell, Lancashire, England which consists of three
major vertical routes and required very technical rope work for the
1930's.
